The Feathered Hook Bed and Breakfast has room
for 10 people and includes a full fly shop with the
most exact fly patterns for the bugs you will see
each day. Within a minute walk of the B&B, lies
Elk creek and Penns Creek. Within a 25 minute
drive, you can be fishing Fly Fisherman's Paradise at
Spring Creek or Benner Springs. Fishing Creek at
the Narrows or the Lock Haven Seig center are 30
minutes away. The Little Juniata and Spruce
creek are 45-50 minutes away. Yellow Creek near
Bedford or the Clarion near Ridgeway are great
places to fish on the way there or on the way back
depending on whether you take the Northern
Route 80 or the Southern Route 76 (PA Turnpike).

Memorial Day Weekend 2012
The Second Annual trip to Central Pennsylvania is going to once again take place on Memorial Day weekend. We will be calling the Feathered Hook in Coburn, PA our "Home Base". That means breakfast with Jonus every morning to start your day. If you have not met Jonus, Imagine a comedian cooking you breakfast while making you laugh so hard it hurts.
Last year the Fishing was amazing with great Sulphur Hatches on Spring Creek and Green Drakes, March Browns, Sulphurs and Stoneflies on the Little Juniata. This year we intend to spend at least a day on Penns Creek and Fishing Creek as well. There are many options in this region of PA from within walking distance to a 1 Hour drive, you can be on some of the best water in the country.
